Alameda brings a touch of Brazilian flair to the embassy area in Sanlitun. The menu changes on daily basis, inviting you to come back the next day to see what the chef has in store. Fresh ingredients and perfectly sized portions are the hallmarks of Alameda, but try to save room for the cheese biscuits and the extenxive dessert menu. One of Sanlitun's most popular eateries-best call ahead for reservation.
I ate here for dinner in August 2012. It's tucked away in a hutong on the east side of Sanlitun Beijie. I ordered the full set menu including desert and wine, and although it was quite expensive (~250 RMB), it was one of the best meals I've had in Beijing. Highly recommended, especially for special occasions.
