Description

Beyond Art Space was established in 2007 by Jing Li, a dynamic young Chinese woman in the heart of the 798 Art District in Beijing. The art gallery focuses on Pan-Asian Contemporary art and is bold enough to feature multi-disciplinarian exhibitions including paintings, photographs, sculptures, videos and installations. Its vast space (+- 500 sqm) perfectly lends itself to thematic or solo shows, which are overseen by Chinese and international curators.

The gallery's aim is to be a platform for Asian Contemporary Art and to concentrate on quality, which means that the art shown not merely exists but strives to communicate intellectual and sensorial content. Because of the high concern for quality, the gallery attempts to achieve a harmonious blend between established and innovative young artists. This will help collectors and museums to consolidate their collections as well as to discover and incorporate new and upcoming talent.

Beyond Art Space is also committed to promote its core artists by producing informative and attractive books and catalogues and to raise their overall profile and their international recognition through participation in relevant exhibitions and fairs. The gallery has already succeeded to introduce some of its best artists to world-class institutions and museums. It also aspires to build strong relationships with collectors, helping them source desirable works and building solid collections.

Beyond Art Space continuously represents a roster of contemporary artists hailing from five different Asian countries, including China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, and India.
