Though there are three train networks in Ningbo, only one is a passenger network, and it operates from the South Train Station. The ticket office is extremely busy, so visitors should take advantage of one of the major hotels or the China Travel Service Agency, who will organize tickets in advance, charging a small fee. The Xiaoshan-Ningbo Railway runs through Ningbo, joining the network to both the Zhejiang-Jiangxi Railway and the Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway.
