Description

Qinling Wildlife Park is 28 kilometers (about 17 miles) south of the downtown area of Xian City. More than 300 animal species reside in the park including various types of birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles.

The Park's exhibitions are divided into two parts: the walking area and car-riding area. The walking area lies on the west side of the park. Exhibited animals can be seen up close. The car-riding area displays herbivores, and other carnivores. The area of the herbivore exhibition is considered the largest in all of China. Grass-eating animals indigenous to Africa can be found in the eastern part, while in the western part of the area are grass-eating animals from Asia. The carnivore exhibition includes tigers, cougars and leopards.

I have been sharing information about your unbelievable behavior towards animals and cannot shout loud enough how atrocious it is. I am advising as many people as possible not to visit your Animal Park while you carry out such abuse on your animals. What sort of example are you setting to the younger generation of Chinese when you are supposed to be protecting the animals. At least that is what Zoo's are supposed to do.

Dear Qinling Wildlife Park Officials,

Please STOP the abuse of these poor tigers as shown in the worldwide article: Tiger cub chained to table and beaten in China zoo to pose for tourists' photos. STOP THIS CRUELTY. PLEASE.

As an American who travels often, I refuse to ever visit your zoo if this cruelty continues. You will lose far more revenue if this conduct continues by word of mouth and bad press. We will shut your zoo down.

Thank you and regards,
