Also known as Baiyun Guan, this temple is the largest Taoist temple in Beijing and has been so ever since the Tang Dynasty. It is one of The Three Great Ancestral Courts of the Complete Perfection Sect of Taoism and is called "The First Temple Under Heaven." It is still active today and you might hear chanting and traditional Taoist music when visiting it. When entering the temple there are two hidden monkeys carved to the arch in the front that are believed to bring good luck when touched.
